Rafael Kayanan and Thomas Kier, along with fellow SCC member Gordon Katz supplied actor Sam Rockwell with the empty hand and weapons training for the George Clooney directed film, Confessions of A Dangerous Mind (screenplay by Charlie Kaufman).

Sam learned close quarter combat techniques to portray would be CIA assassin and game show host Chuck Barris. SCC provided creative concepts that enhanced the film. The deployment of a blade, the use of a necktie as a weapon in a humorus sequence with actor Rutger Hauer.
